DJI Mini 2 SE First Time Setup

DJI mini 2 SE, which has high photo and video shooting quality, offers you a flight time of up to half an hour. This makes this product affordable in terms of price performance. Stabilization is good and there is not much shake in moving shots. If you are going to have your first drone experience with this model, let’s first take a look at the installation stages;

Charge the Battery:

Ensure that the battery is fully charged before your first flight. Connect the battery to the charger and wait until the LED indicator on the battery turns solid. The battery has many features. Precautions have been taken to prevent overheating. It has a smart battery with adjustments and short circuit current protection features to increase flight time.

Install the DJI Fly App:

Download and install the DJI Fly app on your smartphone or tablet. You can find it on the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android).

Power on the Remote Controller:

Press and hold the power button on the remote controller until the LED indicators light up. Select flight mode. It is important to check the battery level. Check your antenna to receive wireless network connection.

Unfold the Drone:

Unfold the arms of the DJI Mini 2 SE until they are securely locked in place.

Insert the Battery:

Slide the fully charged battery into the battery compartment on the drone until it clicks into place.

Power on the Drone:

Press the power button once on the drone to turn it on. You should see LED indicators flashing.

You must use the latest version of the drone software through your mobile application. Connect your remote control to the drone and proceed in the section indicated on the screen. Calibrate the compass on the mobile application. Just as you calibrate the compass on mobile phones, we perform the same process for the drone within the application.

The most important point of using a drone is to first learn it thoroughly. Learn how to browse all menus inside the DJI FLY app. Before using the device, check the strength of the GPS signal, otherwise your drone may not be able to return even if it flies.
